A Bespoke Bride’s Take on COVID-19

A Bespoke bride and her fiance have found it necessary to move their wedding date on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Diane and her fiance are working with Scott and Rondineli to make the wedding of their dreams come true.

The couple initially met on OK Cupid, the dating app, but they ended up meeting for the first time when two of their friends separately had birthdays at a Russian restaurant. They just so happened to be at the same venue together, which inevitably became their first date. Diane exclaimed “I guess it was fate!”

What Went Into the Couple’s Wedding Planning?

The couple has been together for two years since then. When her fiance proposed, he brought Diane to Brooklyn Bridge Park. They were looking out at the New York City Skyline when her fiance asked a stranger to take a photo of the two of them. He then surprised Diane by getting down on one knee. According to Diane, “the rest was history!”

When it came to planning the ‘big day,’ Diane knew she wanted to have her wedding at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge. Scott mentioned to her that he also owns Bespoke Floral and Event design along with his partner, Ron. Diane stated that she chose Bespoke for the Floral and Event Design “after seeing photos of their beautiful work” and because “Scott knows the space intimately and can make all the arrangements seamlessly.”

What Designs Were Chosen For The Wedding?

The designers at Bespoke helped Diane choose a fuchsia and white flower motif, focused on peony flowers – perfect for a spring or summer wedding! They masterfully helped her imagine the lay-out of what her day would look like and offered to help design the chuppah, which will be the focal part of the ceremony.

During these troubling times, Diane stated that “Scott and Rondineli have been very accommodating, especially since the pandemic has affected my family’s health and economically as many of us have lost work.”
